There is a new genre of people whom I am becoming intolerant with . It is the responsible/irresponsible dog owner .Now I enjoy a leisurely walk -I used to enjoy playing hop-scotch with the dog poo scattered randomly on the ground , I used to enjoy playing "lets hold our breath for as long as it takes to get out of pongs way ".I got quite used to thinking the dog poo would disperse eventually via the soles of our shoes /wheels of our bicycles /rain rinse /evaporation etc .
But now when I go for a nice walk there is'nt so much dog poo to dance around anymore .
No-- I can now enjoy looking at the beauty of the "Dog poo tree /bush" . Viewing little plastic bags of fudge (I hope it is? ) dangling from all sorts of garden shrubbery .
Surely the act of placing dog poo in plastic bags is that it keeps Britain tidy and not to have it dangling like Christmas tree decorations everywhere.
I'd lay a bet that the bags of poo disperse into the environment slower than the random placement on the ground "au naturale "
DOG OWNERS --- THANKS FOR SCOOPING IT UP --- BUT -----BIN THE BAGS -----PLEASE .
I'll become less of an old git if you do .---

Yes, sorry, you are becoming an old 'git. The incidence of 'dog poo trees' is nothing compared with dog poo on pavements, where in spite of penalties and social ostracism, a few persistent offending dog walkers are still too idle to stop and clean up. I am a dog owner - I always clean up and I always take my dog poo bags home to dispose of. Having said that, my neighbour has left his yard brush from snow clearing hanging from his front garden tree (ready for the next fall I guess). I told him that 'brush trees' were a rare sight these days!! The brush is still there but no poo bags..
